Optometrists are medical professionals that examine and treat eye defects with corrective lenses or exercises. Ophthalmologists are licensed physicians that specialize in the structures, functions, and diseases of the eye, and may perform surgery. These merchants may or may not fill eyeglass or contact lens prescriptions, or sell eyeglass frames.
