Gambling Transactions

Merchants that operate indoor playgrounds, interactive games and amusement machines, such as jukeboxes, video games, pinball machines, paintball, and laser tag games, mechanical games, and instant photograph booths. An acquirer may use this MCC to identify a U.S. region skill games merchant or a skill games merchant located outside the U.S. region that accepts payment from U.S. region cardholders for participation in a skill game conducted by such merchant. Such merchant must be properly registered with Mastercard as set forth in section 9.4.5 of the Security Rules and Procedures manual. If such merchant’s activities are regulated as gambling in any non-U.S. jurisdiction, then the merchant must be identified with MCC 7995. For merchants that sell amusement equipment, use MCC 7993. For merchants that operate games involving wagering, use MCC 7995.
